摘要:
Entanglement is a key resource for quantum information technologies ranging from quantum sensing to quantum computing. Conventionally, the entanglement between two coupled qubits is established at the time scale of the inverse of the coupling strength. In this talk Iwilltalk about our recent research work about entanglement generation between weakly-coupled qubits at a speed much faster than conventional way by proximity to a higher-order exceptional point. This fundamentally new method for generating quantum entanglement offers considerable potential for application in quantum information science and technology.
专家简介:
Zengzhao Li received his Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from Fudan University in 2012. He did postdoc in Beijing Computational Research Center, Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, Dresden, Germany, and Lund University, Sweden, and is currently Assistant Project Research Scientist at University of California, Berkeley. His research interest lies in theoretical quantum physics including open quantum systems, quantum computation and information, and intersections with topological phase of matter and Floquet quantum physics.
李增朝,复旦大学理论物理博士,北京计算科学研究中心、德国德累斯顿Max Planck研究所、瑞典隆德大学博士后,目前是加州大学伯克利分校项目研究助理科学家。研究兴趣主要是理论量子物理,包括开放量子系统、量子计算、量子信息,以及物质拓扑相和Floquet量子物理。
